Businiess name:  Derek's Restaurant Group
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
We found Derek's to be quite disappointing. It's very crowded and noisy and is more of a scene than a restaurant. The food was average overall. $16.95 for 2 small lamb chops was overpriced and the whole grilled fish for $24.95 was bland and tasteless. The bread basket was completely burnt and should have never been served. Then there's the ridiculous ""half-price"" wine list! The bottle of Jumilla we had was listed at $52 and then ""discounted"" to $26. This is an $8 bottle of wine so the mark-up was still over 300%! Some discount. The waiter brings the wine and nearly empties the entire bottle into our glasses! Then the overflow crowd at the door is standing in front of our booth as we eat, how private and romantic! Derek's has potential but if you want serious dining then go somewhere else. Pros: Can watch TV? Cons: Very noisy, Overpriced, Average food
