My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Friday night. The place was crowded, but there was one corner table that we quickly took. I had been in here before for a drink at the smallish front bar and liked the look of the place - a low light, plush, cool comfy-cozy but oddly elegant feel. We treated ourselves to the fried oysters, nicely done with a perfect coating and served over a small bed of wasabi infused seaweed salad in the shell, followed by a very tasty and large fresh beet salad. For an entree we shared the crispy skin Atlantic salmon (yes, I know everyone's crazy about ""wild"" salmon..). They split the portion in the kitchen - actually I think they were two separate filets - which is always appreciated and the fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also shared a side of brocolli rabe, which was also very good (it's amazing how bad brocolli rabe can be at some places..overcooked & bitter..). Trendy, fun music pumped through the speakers throughout dinner and the place filled up even more as we were leaving. Service was casual but good. With two drinks the tab was $68.
