My soccer team moved from Sahlens to Sportsplex for the past 2 sessions...
The league is expensive. It's only 6v6 so the price ranges about $83 a person for a team of 11. You don't want much more than that on a team because it is only a 3/4 length field and often, substitutes aren't needed. Lets not forget that you owe the refs $20 every single game, and dont forget their money because that is an automatic forfeit! Speaking of Refs, they are a joke there. Even the woman at the desk doesn't stop talking about how rude and unprofessional they are. They only follow the rules when they want to, and if they know anyone on a team, you will know right away because their calls are always bias (have been on both sides of this occuring). The leagues seem to be pretty poorly ran, on the website, they will say the games are wednesday nights, but then they throw in 2 or 3 monday night games which, if we signed up for wednesday night games...why are we playing any games on mondays? Then, lets talk about gametimes. I understand that there are 3 different leagues playing on wednesdays (2 rec and 1 competitive) but to schedule us for a game at 11:50pm, thats just insane. People have to work in the morning!!! This will probably be the last time we sign our team up there. We're going back to Sahlens.
