From beginning to end I had a terrible experience with Maggard Property Management. When you entrust your property to a management company there is always a certain degree of risk that the managers will not try and exploit the fact that you aren't physically there. Maggard did exactly that and to a degree that I have not previously seen. My property was in horrendous condition with unhappy tenants by the time I found a new management company. They severely overcharged for the work that was performed and treated the tenants with disrespect. Hiring them was the single worst business decision I have ever made. I should have spent more time looking at the many 1-star reviews that are out there. I have used about a dozen management companies and Maggard is without a doubt, the worst. They are very skilled at exploiting the tenants and the owners to make money.
