Review content:
The food is great and compares to the pho and bun I could get when I lived in California. However, after giving this place about 5 tries to overcome perhaps some of the worst and most incompetent service Ive had, I have to say, I cant go back. Your food either never comes, or servers never stop at your table. Wait staff are slow, inattentive, inexperienced, apathetic and cant explain the very basic menu to folks who have never had Vietnamese food. It was embarrassing to recommend this place to friends of mine. With good reason, they were all offended by how lousy the service was. In addition, no beer or wine is on the menu. It makes me sad, because the place is otherwise a bright, popular place and fills a culinary niche on Franklin St.
Pros: good food
Cons: , long waits, no beer
