Jason told me on the phone that he charges $95 per hour for labor - he never mentioned that this includes driving time to and from my house! His office is 30 min from my house so for 1 hour worth of work, he charged me 2 hours of labor! He claims that he had informed me beforehand - what he said when I told him about my problem was that because he was a half hour away, he would not be able to come until late morning. ""And oh, by the way, I charge $95 per hour."" Nowhere in that conversation did he have the honesty to mention that driving time was included in the charges. I did not think to ask him specifically about that because in all these years, I have yet to have a serviceman charge for driving to my place unless I did not get the work done by them! I would not call these guys for anything truely expensive or complicated because I could not trust them to give me a fair invoice.
