Review content:
After having pleasantly visited the Ru San's in Atlanta, I was happy to see one open up in The Gulch. If you are accustomed to the Koto, Shintomi, or Samurai scene, you may be a bit taken by Ru San's atmosphere, which I must admit, is my primary draw. It wouldn't be a stretch to imagine Ru San's knocking out the side wall and installing a DJ booth and dance floor. I recommend the more traditional sushi because of the excellent price and good quality. The sushi menu is ridiculously modern but contains all of the traditional items. Upon my first visit, I had the salmon, tuna, yellowtail, unagi, tamago, and uni nigiri, as well as the ""Dr. Zhivago Roll,"" all of which were excellent. Prices allow patrons to try lots of unfamiliar items, making this a great place to take sushi-virgins. Oh yeah, and the bar is frickin' huge.
Pros: Good food, superb atmosphere, great prices
Cons: Ambiguous parking, not enough waitresses
