Review content:
With an amazing ambiance and wonderful staff, Chaco Canyon Cafe seems like it should be a raw foodists dream. And, in some ways it is. The prices are good (meals under $8) and the options tantalizing (spinach lasagne, spicy thai grinder) ... but the dishes won't woo anybody who isn't familiar with raw foods. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the raw restaurants in Los Angeles and the Bay Area, but Chaco Canyon's food fell into the raw foods trap of ""ground up stuff in a patty on a plate of greens."" Dedicated raw foodists will celebrate (the dishes are tasty and hearty), but those unfamiliar with the cuisine won't be swayed....unlike, say, Raw in Santa Monica, where I could bring my carnivourous friends and watch them drool over an all raw, but all amazing meal.
Pros: raw foods, organic ingrediants, great prices
