Businiess name:  Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I'm back. New York's ""Krispy Kreme"" doughnuts are overrated, and overpriced. It's the hype that's selling them. Go to Beaverton Bakery, and several other good bakeries, in the area, and try a comparable ""HOT"" glazed doughnut. You will find them just as good. There is no secret glaze here. Any good dough, cooked in the right oil, at the right tempurature, will yeald a great doughnut. I agree that hot doughnuts will taste better. Look at hot, fresh baked bread, with a slather of butter on it. I think I'm in Heaven, when I do. Krispy Kreme's are good, but overrated. Only the person, who goes to the store, and asks for hot doughnuts, and eats it within minutes, will have this experience. The doughnut, eaten two hours later, at a morning break, will not have any special experience, like any other doughnut. Pros: good when hot, lots of parking, many employees Cons: overpriced, long lines, not worth the effort.
