Review content:
My husband and I went to eat at Peppers (spent a lot of money and tipped our waitress very well). However, before we left, we ordered red sauce to go. A couple days later, I opened the sauce while prepping for dinner. I was pretty sure that from tasting, smelling and seeing what was in the container was not what I ordered. I called and talked to a manager, who was very rude and sure that I was wrong and that I did receive what I ordered. I buckled and made the 40 minute drive (total time for driving both ways) to get what I should have received. When I arrived, the manager said that the sauce was actually a lobster bisque. I then told her that I had stuck my finger in the sauce that she was holding that was thawed and had sat in my fridge for a couple days. She didn't care. She proceeded to turn her back, after taking both quarts of the sauce from my hands and walk into the kitchen. Standing at the front counter, I watched her place the sauce back into the kitchen storage. (Hopefully this was shrunk and thrown out... Who knows!?! Can you say Gross!). Anyways, the manager was very unfriendly and acted as though she couldn't get me out of there faster after she came back with the sauce. In the meantime, there was bickering going on between staff over this incident. There was no ""Sorry for the inconvenience"" or apologizing for making the extra trip out. The manager was in a big hurry to get rid of me with no making up by offering something. I was shocked because I wasn't nasty or unfriendly toward them. I did however muster the courage to speak up (twice) to ask for a sugar cookie for the inconvenience it was. Whatever happened to the saying ""the customer is always right"" and making sure that customers are happy? At least, let's just hope that no one is eating that lobster bisque I gave back!! Geesh.
Pros: Food tastes good
Cons: Customer Service, Management
