Review content:
This is Dr. Ken K. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I do not feel comfortable letting Smile1111's note stand as-is. She had braces years earlier with another orthodontist. At her request, we made a lower retainer to keep her teeth from moving further. She came back many months later requesting braces to straighten her teeth because her teeth had moved even more. Admittedly, she did not wear the retainer. It was my opinion that it was not a good idea to spend the money and time straightening her teeth unless she would wear a retainer afterwards (just at night). She said, ""Well, won't you take my money?"" I told her I would not feel right about it. She left unhappy. Her father called later. Instead of thanking me for not taking his daughter's money unnecessarily, he threatened to wait for me in the parking lot after work. No good deed . . .
