Review content:
As a newcomer to the Wilmington area from Philadelphia, which has an abundance of japanese/sushi restaurants, I was very disappointed by Jasmine. I do not think this is a restaurant for sushi eaters. The majority of the menu consists of ""woked"" items, teryaki items, appetizers and other non-sushi items. I found that the waiter was not very accomodating with switching rolls to suit our liking. In fact, in order to substitute cucumber for avocado in the Alaskan roll (salmon and avocado), they charged an extra dollar! (Besides the fact that everything was more expensive than then other sushi restaurants we frequent) The best items we ordered were the shrimp dumplings and the miso soup and wonton soup, so if we return to this restaurant it will not be for the sushi, but to try the other pan-asian dishes on the menu.
