Review content:
While we were shopping at Phipps Plaza this past weekend for a wedding gift at Tiffany's, we stopped by this boring wine bar. It was on a Saturday afternoon, and only two people were in the place. We should have known something was wrong. We felt sorry for the poor lady behind the bar. We looked over the wine selection, and we didn't hardly recognize anything. And the prices. Looked over the mini-menu, and nothing caught our eye. Maybe we are just too young for this frou-frou bar, we are in our early thirties, but maybe not. We had a glass and left. Went around the corner to the Tavern at Phipps, and it was packed. All ages. Good food, and wine selection. In the future, we will just return to the Highlands, and our fave the Vine. No offense to the older crowd, but they were at the Tavern, also. Very funny reading previous reviewer, who gave five stars, sounds like it was written by an employee. LOL! Pros: Boring, Empty Wine Bar! Cons: Appeals To Older Customers?
