Review content:
I was told by the staff at Franny's in no uncertain terms that, although my children were well behaved while there, they were not the clientele this snooty pizzeria wanted to cater to. The staff was rude to us, despite the fact that my sister, whose birthday we were celebrating, is a regular there (not anymore!!). Although this restaurant describes itself on this site as ""Kid Friendly"" (see Amenities), it is anything but. We were dining at 5:00 on a Sunday, a time where it is reasonable for children to be at a pizzeria, no matter how upscale it is attempting to be! My children were appropriately behaved for their ages and NEVER left their seats or cried. Nonetheless, we were made to feel unwelcomed by the rude staff and hostess. In a neighborhood filled with young families, this restaurant has made clear that it is not interested in serving families with children.
Pros: Large wine selection is the only prop I can think of!
Cons: Pizza is subpar, expensive and atmosphere is unwelcoming to families
