Review content:
I had recently brought my 2 dogs (ages 2 1/2 and 7 mo) to the Hound Dog Hotel for 7 days. When we returned from our vacation, we picked them up as soon as they opened at 7am. About an hour after that I noticed that my dog were both having trouble breathing, coughing, and had thick, green snot coming from their noses. I called our vet and they told us to bring them in right away. Both of our dogs ended up having upper respiratory infections. A couple hundred dollars later, we started them on antibiotics. Two days later, my oldest dog started to have trouble breathing. We had to bring her to the emergency hospital for care. She was on the verge of pneumonia.
We spent plenty of money for accurate care for our dogs. We called them just about every day to check on our babies. We thought everything was fine. At least that was what they told us even the day we picked them up. Our vet stated that they had to have had this sickness for at a couple days to be this bad. When we called the pet hotel, there was not a care for how our dogs had been received.
Why wouldn't they have called us if they noticed a sickness? How could they have not noticed my dogs were hacking up a lung and excreting neon green ooze out of their noses? Were they not paying close attention to the care of my dogs?
We spent double what we should have for the hotel and veterinary costs. No wonder they have a waiver to sign away the possible care and life of your dogs.
DO NOT bring your dog here if you expect quality attention and care. You will end up spending more than you bargained for. Your dogs are more important than that!!!
Pros: Example: best croissants in town
Cons: What are the drawbacks?
