Review content:
We brought our laptop to Phoenix computer because the jack for the power cable came loose and it wasn't charging, it was completely dead. We had the same problem before and thought we'd try Phoenix computer thinking they might be less expensive. When dropping the laptop off I told them what the problem was and they said they would check it out. I got a phone call back from them, I was told they did a diagnostic test and it wasn't the jack it was instead the motherboard. I was curious how they could test the motherboard or do any kind of diagnostic test since the computer wasn't able to turn on at all. I was told they knew it was the motherboard from the flashing lights in the front. I said we'd come and get it. When my husband arrived Phoenix computer gave him a bill for I think it was $30 for a diagnostic test. He wasn't going to pay it but they wouldn't give him the laptop unless he did. We then brought it to our usual repair shop. Sure enough the motherboard was fine but the jack that the power cord attaches to was loose, they repaired it and all is well. Never and I repeat never will I go back to Phoenix computers.
