Working with Amour Bridal has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I have been in numerous weddings and recently got married myself and have never had such poor service and an ill-fitting dress from all of the bridal shops I have worked with. After receiving my exact measurements, they still ordered me a dress that was two sizes too small. I could not get the zipper up. When I requested they order the right size dress (2 2/3 months before the wedding) they refused to do so and claimed that it takes three months to order them. However they were more than willing to charge me hundreds of dollars in order to turn my size 4 dress into a 6 rather than getting me the right size in the first place. These people refuse to order the correct size dress, they order the wrong size and charge exuberant alteration fees. Their dresses are over-priced already and then they charge the price of the dress (if not more) in alteration fees. This is their business and it is wrong. To make matters worse, even after receiving all of these alterations that should not have been necessary in the first place, not one of our bridesmaid dresses fit well. The entire evening was uncomfortable to say the least, because we were worried about the construction of our gowns. They were poorly made, all of the zippers were on the verge of breaking and many of the altered seams ripped before the reception even started. If I could do this whole thing over again, I would steer clear of Amour Bridal.
