I took a date to black pearl last friday night and was absolutly blown away by every aspect of this restaurant. We started the evening with cocktails in the bar and was greeted with wonderful service from our bartender who was able to guide us through the exciting cocktail menu. After a drink or two we made our way into the stunningly cool and understated dining room, everything from the raw wood floors to the eclectic light fixtures and views of the kitchen were an absolute treat for the senses!!! The menu was simple, but very creative at the same time and our server was able to guide us through and suggest a great bottle of wine as well. The room filled up quickly, and while black pearl is a little noisy it just lends to the exciting enviroment that ensconses you the second you walk through the doors. Not only will I be back again in the very near future, I will be passing along the word about this hidden treasure!!!!
Pros: Awesome menu and wine list, great service and a great time!
Cons: Parking is a little tough, but it was south pearl on a friday night...
