Businiess name:  Florencia 13

Review content:
I stopped by Florencia 13 a couple of weeks after it opened in 2005. I was visiting NYC for a week from LA and wandering around the Village when I saw the sign. Needless to say, I was a little shocked (Nobody from NYC seems to understand the significance of ""Florencia 13""). I then saw the menu and laughed because once upon a time I had been locked up with some guys from Maravilla...so I went inside to see what was up. The brother and sister who own and run the place with their parents took me in like family- turns out they were really from Florence. Pros: Best place to hang out in NYC, period. Amazing food, ambience, service, and drinks. A taste of LA for homesick Angelenos! Cons: I live in Los Angeles, so I can't be there more often
