It's been about a year since we dared to try another BBQ restaurant in ABQ after the awful experience at the place that was rated #2 here. (Note - we moved here from Kansas City, so we know good barbecue...) We tried some brisket and baby back ribs in take out form. The brisket was very good. Tender, good smokey flavor and not at all greasy. The babybacks were ok. The flavor was good, but they were a bit tough. We like that rib meat to just fall off the bone.... The good news is we will return to Powdrell's and give their regular ribs a try and will definitely go back for more brisket!
