I have tried every sandwich place in and around the Capitol and this place makes the best sandwiches hands down. There is nothing pretentious about Pennisi's. It's clean, well laid out and there is outdoor seating. The sandwiches are big and fresh - definitely the best turkey ever, and no one behind the counter will bring out the scale to make sure that you don't get over the one alloted ounce! The sandwiches are unique (real muffeleta), delicious and the atmosphere feels just like home, only with better bread! I love this place!
