I had been wanting to change my long, straight, brown hair- always parted in the center- for a long time, but I was nervous because I couldn't remember a time when I had a really ""Great"" haircut. I actually found Sol Salon through the reviews on CitySearch so I wanted to continue to spread the good word! I told the stylist, Christine, that I knew I wanted something different while still keeping my hair long and without changing the color. She then took out several scrapbooks full of pictures of different hairstyles and made suggestions as to what she thought would work best on me. After reviewing my guidelines- keep it long/no dye please- I decided to just trust her and let her do whatever she thought would look best. When all was said and done, my hair looked AMAZING! Now, a few months later , my haircut has grown out extremely well and I am still getting compliments! Hooray for finally getting a truly great haircut!!!
Pros: Convenient westside location- Lots of street parking- Friendly staff
Cons: Not cheap
