I have been a member for almost 5 years. At the beginning it was true that they didn't have too many machines at the gym, but now they have lots of modern, with tv and different cardiovascular machines. The programs they offer are cheaper compare to other places. Yes, the instructors are young..but they are good. From my experience. the first year my son went to his swimming class, he cried all the class..yes the instructor was not with him the whole class, (there are other kids too, we have to be fair, all kids deserve the same attention) but each class the instructor helped my child to get into the swimming pool...right now, he enjoys a lot going to the swimming pool classes, and I am sure he would not have been able to do this without The YMCA,,,It is not perfect, but it is good, and cheap...
