I went to this charming boutique because i needed a wedding gift for my brother and his new wife and she can be, well, challenging, if you know what i mean... hehe... SO, Crosell and Co advertises bridal gifts and registry. Well, I arived and it is a cute little house on Damen that is set back a little from the street. upon entering i was surrounded with all sorts of serving bowls, candle sticks, cake plates in all different colors and styles! I knew that i would be able to find just the right thing for them. I walked around and Dianne, the owner, showed me a number of things until i landed on this awesome cutting board/cheese board made of marble with a cat laying on it, i think the cat is pewter, and it had little mice for the feet. Coolest thing ever!!! I said to her, what the heck is a vegan going to do with a cheese board? not to worry, she had a little metal bowl that went with it for things like guacamole or what ever kind if dip you could imagine and little spreading knives in the shape of mice as well. what a great idea!! and Rob and Brittany LOVED it! Since then, I have been back for Christmas gifts as well as other wedding gifts for other friends. Dianne always seems to have just the right thing! and she will help you with the tough people in your life!
