Review content:
I went to Mila's last week for eyelash extensions. I have been getting extensions for years but took a few months off when I relocated to AZ so I needed a full set and read many good reviews about Mila's. It sounds like they may be good with hair but certainly not with eyelash extensions. This was a VERY long and painful afternoon - I have never cried from being in pain in a salon before but I did at Mila's. I have to assume the woman who applied my eyelashes was new because she did not have any idea what she was doing. When she was finished, my eyelashes were stuck to the bottom lash sticker so she pulled at them and pulled multiple lashed out. Then a few other lashes stuck to my bottom lashes and I could not open my eye. She then asked me to try open my eye while she poked at my lashes with a tweezer. With the fear of losing my eye, I closed my eye again until she said to open because she had gotten them apart. I opened my eye (the little that I could) only to have her drop some glue remover into my eye. The burning was unbelievable - an intense pain where I was sure I would go blind. (Keep in mind, I still couldn't open my eye as my lashes were still glued together. Twenty minutes later, after her boss had come in and kept yelling at me to keep my eyes closed, I ripped my lashes apart and begged them to let me leave the salon. She then had the audacity to say she was only going to charge me $75!! Wow, thanks! I just threw the money at her and stumbled out crying. That was the worst experience of my life. I had to go to another salon to get them fixed since glue didn't stop dropping into my eye for two days.
