Review content:
Mama Kwan's has a cute Hawaii/California fusion thing going on, with a tiki bar theme inside. The food is really great, from all-American burgers to CA/HI-style fish tacos and pad thai. It's open for lunch and dinner, has a sit-around bar that dominates one of the rooms, and is family friendly during the day. It can get a bit loud, though, since there's a lot of wood and sound seems to reverberate through the restaurant. They host karaoke and local bands a couple of nights a week. Definitely a place to hit on the OBX.
