I would love to give this place more stars because the food is very good, but they really rush you out. You expect a quick turn over in a diner, but not a seemingly chill restaurant like Cheryl's. I had brunch there for the second time this weekend with my friend, and we were again rushed out the door, this after being told that they did not offer any substitutions for sandwiches (how hard is it to get a different mayo on the side), not getting the water we asked for (thank God for the busboy), and my friend getting a cold plate of eggs (when she asked the waitress if she could get them warmed up, she said ""sure"" to her face, and then added ""I'd love to"" under her breath as she turned away). Oh, and the cupcake I ordered after brunch came to me in a to-go bag. Okay Cheryl, I get the hint. Pros: good food Cons: rude staff and owner
