Review content:
I am pretty satisfied with Kiddie College, except for the food. The food they give the children is unacceptable due to the fact that there is absolutely no nutritional value besides milk, which is offered with all the meals. However, that is the only part that is nutritious. For breakfast on Monday the children were given tater tots (fried & processed) with ketchup, which they consider to be the ""vegetable"" part of the breakfast. Tuesday my child was offered what they called a biscuit; it was nothing more than a heavily glazed sweet roll made from white flour. That's all he was offered besides milk. Another day it was heavily sugared, processed muffins with fake blueberries. Another day it was white toast with grape jelly; I asked Judy at the front desk when the children were going to get the ""fruit"" or ""vegetable"" part of the meal that is mentioned in the paperwork. She said that the jelly was the fruit; unbelievable. My child also receives 2 snacks a day, which always consist of cookies (sometimes they call these wafers) & cake. The lunch is somewhat adequate (altho I haven't actually seen the food) but it is not optimal, & usually consists of (for example) something like mac'n'cheese & ham & fried apples. For the price I pay I don't expect gourmet meals...however, I do think that this is the top area that should be improved on. I have no other complaints so far & from my experience, the staff seems otherwise attentive & caring.
