I am writing in response to the message posted on April 10th........it's amazing that this person has such negative things to say about the restaurant and it's management. I have been to the restaurant numerous times and I think it's one of the best places in Jersey City. The restaurant is located in a well-lit area and has parking right next to the building. The food is unbelievable and the people are always pleasant. I often go there alone, but I always feel like I'm surrounded by friends. The bartenders are friendly and the manager is not only intelligent and articulate but she's very easy on the eyes;). The group of people varies, but I personally have never encountered ""THE HOOD"". I always use my credit card and I have never encountered a problem. It appears that whoever wrote the review is bitter and appears to have a personal vendetta against the owner (hence her calling HIM out by name in the post). It's truly sad that some people are soo negative and will lie in an attempt to deter business......but the thing that is often forgotten is that you can not destroy someone else's destiny and purpose.......so nice try Samantha69. With such negativity, I'm sure management isn't disappointed with losing your business. As my mother would always say "" Everything isn't for Everybody"". For anyone who has never been to the restaurant......try it for yourself and come to your own conclusion......I'm sure you will not be disappointed . BTW....the calamari and blackened tilapia are GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!!
