I too had a bad experience with ""Dr.Firpi""....so bad that the guardian ad litem had to set the record straight and save my child(thank god he stepped in ). ""Firpi"" is very biased....he leans very toward money..I think he may be looking for the media spotlight as well.... .I found it odd..that he was ""court Appointed"" and there were no alternatives..... I did some research and found that he goes to week long ""business"" trips with several members of the DCF........ they are all connected longtime ""friends"" of the court and DCF bigwigs. You CANNOT treat children's lives like some kind of business deal!!!! Just because someone looks good on paper..and makes a lot of money...does not mean they should have the child! That is not thinking about the child's needs....but more so...society's image to uphold...a materialistic one at that! He also did not care that the father had NEVER paid child support...it did not matter AT ALL...even though the father was completely wealthy. CORRUPTION And COLLUSION are at its prime in Miami!! PS ...my ex was also going after our child PURELY to get out of child support! FIRPI Could not see through him! (BETTER YET, DID NOT WANT TO) thats some psychologist..the guardian ad litem saw through it all including seeing through Firpi....thank god. BEWARE OF DR. FIRPI!!!!!!
Pros: zero this guy is bad news and some day he will get caught in his unethical practice
Cons: everything about going to this guy is bad
