Review content:
My boyfriend stopped in for pricing information on this club, and the next thing he knew, he's being pressured into a free beer with the manager while they signed him up for a $90 per month membership. He was told he could cancel in writing within 14 days. When he sent them an email to cancel, he started getting a flood of phone calls pressuring him to stay. Finally, after several phone calls asking why the email cancellation didn't work and how to cancel for real this time, he was told he could come in any time during business hours to cancel, only to be told that that wasn't true b/c he supposedly needed to speak with the membership person, who wasn't there. At that point, he came close to ""losing it"" and threatened reported them to the BBB, if they didn't take care of him right at that moment. The threat of the scene he was about to create got 3 people with cancellation applications and apologies right away and the deal was finally done! It still took 1 week even after finally completing the ridiculous cancellation paperwork before he got his refund.
