In December I purchased three new Firestone tires for my truck at California Tire and Wheels in Fairfield (+$600.00 plus shipping) I had these tires for less than 3wks, when one blew out. I had another tire dealership inspect the tire and was told the tire was most likely defective. I returned the tire to CTW and they contacted American Tire Dist. and after sending a cellphone photo to Carl at ATD, I was told they would not replace the tire, and that the only recourse available for me was to contact Firestone. ATD doe's not warranty what they sell they only provide tires to dealers. So, the few dollars one saves going through this distributor may cost more in the end as long as they refuse to back the product(s) they sell. I will only go to a reputable name brand dealer in the future.
