I went to Westport Shoe Repair to have an inexpensive purse repaired. The owner explained why the strap broke so easily (vinyl was sewed through, forming perforations). He said he could fix it with vinyl but that I would probably have the same problem in a short time. He suggested leather as a long-lasting alternative. The cost was reasonable. It was repaired in about a week, and I was thrilled with the work. The owner is an extremely pleasant man, and I will definitely take other repair jobs to Westport.
