Review content:
I knew Charlotte had a few great places to eat, I just didn't know about this one. While getting a haircut at another hidden gem, Bang Bang Salon, my stylist suggested I try a place that shared a strip mall w/ a Family Dollar. Intrigued, I walked over to Bistro La Bon. The lunch menu was refreshing, lots of seafood, unique sandwiches, and a few things i'd never heard of, but sounded great. I decided on one of the latter, the ""Swedish Pyttipanna"", wich is essentially a mix of small bits of Kielbasa, potatoes, and brisket, topped w/ a sunny side up egg. Before I recieved said lunch, however, I was presented w/ a green salad and fresh bread, all included, and all under $12. By the time I left, all full of wonderful comfort food, I had made reservations for the following Friday. In short, if you're in Plaza Midwood, pull into the Family Dollar parking lot and give this place a try. I doubt you'll be dissapointed.
