Review content:
I took my car in because of squeaking brakes and was told I needed new pads and new brakes. I had everything replaced and assumed I was good to go. I was recently in the process of selling the car when a third party inspection told me that the job was not done properly and that they should not buy the car until all items were fixed. I'm not as well versed in ""car speak"" but I know when something is cut and/or leaking after a break job, it's not a good thing. I can't believe I've been driving around in a car with brakes that weren't fixed properly... it's a very scary feeling. I too will be escalating the problem if I don't get resolution from Midas. Although I'm not thrilled at the idea of having them ""fix it"" again if that's what they suggest. I wish I had just gone to the dealer or someplace with a better review. I've learned a good lesson.
Pros: I discovered the botched job before my brakes went out
Cons: Made the problem worse
