I have 3 children that have all gone to this preschool. My 16 year old began at age 4, my son about 3 (now 14), and my youngest from 6 weeks until K.
I did research carefully before I put my children in anyone's care and I WOULDN'T TAKE MY KIDS ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I'm very upset about the prior comment because I spent time popping in unexpectantly anytime of day, and when the people know you, they don't need your license.
For about 1 month, I took my son to the daycare on Little Road near the government center (now gone) and my son was sick constantly, they didn't know HIS name, and no sanitation efforts seem to be taken. He came home with bite marks and bruises and they could give me NO answers. I immediately took him to Sea of Learning and NO ear infections, no marks, he was NO longer screaming and the kids didn't want to go home when we got there, because they were HAPPY!
Ms. Sue has always taken good care of the kids and I've never even seen her raise her voice. They have an Open House celebration during Halloween time and do wonderful things for kids and parents to make it a great event.
IF you are looking for a clean and secure preschool, where kids learn and enjoy themselves, then look no further. The front door was only open until 9 am and then locked and the back gate/ door needs to be used. There is always staff either in the playground or in the facility. I have never seen kids left unattended at any time and my kids have gone there since 1997!
If you have ever been a teacher, like myself, then you would know that it is not easy to keep watch over a full class of kids every second, but to persecute them for this, then I say that you need to spend time in a classroom for one day. I promise you that you will turn your head away from at least one kid for 30 sec per day. During that time, the child may fall, stick his or her tongue at another, etc. That doesn't mean you are negligent, it means you are human.
