My friend and I were at Plainsfield Mayor on Saturday night. We didn't have reservations and it was busy. it didn't take too long before we got a table and was seated though. We had the Baingan Bharita for appetizers. It's amazing how much they give you. We also ordered the Royal Biryani that was nicely touched with silver edible foil (neat experience!!) The owner/hostess explained this to our amazement. There's also a nice window that's fun to watch. You can actually see them making the garlic naan. Well, I don't know much about Indian food, but I would definitely try this one again. The food is very good and the people are so friendly. Oh and the wine goes great with the food. Good selection.
