This food was fantastic. I didn't go here with stellar expectations, I think b/c I couldn't quite make sense of the menu. I came here for my friend's bday. 5 of us, 2 vegetarians. We ordered the Asian salad (crunchy, very fresh tasting, lots of mint), Grilled Eggplant Napoleon (faaabulous, eggplant layered with goat cheese and onions, delicious), Insalata di Liquria (nice mix of endive, gorgonzola and chestnut honey), Gratin Dauphinois (potato gratin, not too heavy/cheesy, delicious), Mushroom Risotto (very good, drizzled with truffle oil). The meat eaters also enjoyed the Sizzling Garlic Shrimp and the Cuban Cigar- which came with a tasty black bean salsa. Dessert was Cheesecake and Tartufo. Cheesecake was small but excellent. Tartufo was good. Came with strawberry (meh), pistachio and mexican chocolate ice cream. The staff could not have been kinder. From seating us well before our reservation time, as we were early, to triple checking for gluten content, to making a fabulous birthday presentation, they completed a delicious and very enjoyable evening. The decor is awesome as well. Pros: Fantastic food; super friendly staff Cons: none really
