Review content:
For a long time, I've been dying to have a good Indian place nearby in Hollywood. There's a few nice ones west of La Brea, but come east and it's like a ghost town for Indian food. Well guess what, that's changed with ""Crown of India"". Located in a strip mall near Highland & Santa Monica, this has to be some of the BEST Indian food I've ever had. Maybe my happy experience was affected by the low prices and large portions, but this was some very good food. The staff was also quite friendly, and the interior is nice. I've had takeout from this place many times, you can't beat an $8 lunch special. I love their chicken korma, chicken curry, chana masala, naan, everything! Check them out, you won't regret it!
Pros: Friendly service, great food, low prices
Cons: Location (but you can always do take-out)
