Review content:
I had eaten here almost a year ago and liked it enough to try it again this past weekend. I was very disappointed. I had hoped for a much more creative menu, but it just wasn't. As someone else mentioned, it relied heavily on pastas. The service was friendly...when we could get it. We waited several minutes to be greeted by our waitress when we first sat down, then about 10 more minutes just to get our water. It took us 2 hours from beginning to end and that is not because we were enjoying ourselves lingering. In fact, the cramped, stuffy atmosphere made it a relief to finally get out of there. The food was average, and for the money, it was definitely well below average. And, the portions are small so we both left slightly hungry. From my experience, there are much better places for fine dining in Raleigh. I'd love to be able to say great things about Frazier's, but I just can't.
