I had 8 years of OTR experience when I started with James Clark. In six months I saw a good company go bad.
1, 60 days on the road with no more than 18 hours at home. (I live 10 minutes from terminal!)
2, In the month of August and September 2009 NO NIGHT Dispatch at all!
3 You want it when? where? and How Far? Thats not exactly LOG LEGAL!
4 In September they introduced slip seating for ANYONE with more than 2 days at home while it was apparent to me that there were at LEAST 40 tractors if not more sitting Idle in the Yard
5 I had to pay the fixit ticket because I was never allowed enough down time in their own yard/ shop to have mechanical repairs done!
6 Utah department of Workforce services is refusing benefits because these afforementioned are not good cause? Now after a 3rd appeal UDWS is Now ignoring me! Therefore I am not paying state taxes this year because I am being ignored!!!!
Pros: Good tractors
Cons: not enough time at terminal for repairs
