Ken's Market is just up the alley from us, and that makes us very lucky. It only took a couple of trips into Ken's for last-minute grocery items to realize that Kan's is a great little neighborhood grocer and so much more! You can't beat their wine selection....no need to go to a separate store, they carry all the amazing, largely unknown but phenomenal labels you're looking for. And, they know a whole lot about them so don't be afraid to ask. Not only that, but when I was calling around frantically searching for rabbit for a Hasenpfeffer recipe, Ken's was the only one (including the specialty markets and big-box grocers) who said to me, ""We don't have it, but we can order as much as you need and have it ready for pick-up the next day"". Talk about phenomenal customer service!
