Review content:
I would like to start off by saying that I do appreciate and respect all officers of the law. Now on to the not so good side of things. I have been living in Manheim for about nine years now, the police have always been helpful and polite like the first comment states. The Manheim boro police hired two new police officers a few months back and they were both from Philadelphia. I observed one officer stopped at a red light turn on his emergency red and blue lights so he could turn on red and then he turned them off. I did personally observe that and this next one, I was again at a light in front of the local fire department/Turkey Hill and a officer pulled up next to me in the turning lane. the light was red for the both of us and he then turned illegally without signaling or even emergency lights. this to me is very disrespectful, illegal, and is a bad example for law enforcement. How are we the people supposed to respect the law when the law docent respect itself? I hope you all take notice to these reviews and of you see a LEO do something illegal, report it to the chief( who is by the way a good family friend.) you can also file a complaint by going to the department and filing one out. I hope this helps, your local Citizen Soldier.
