VWORST... EXPERIENCE... EVER. I never have written a bad review for any restaurant, but this one REALLY deserves it! STAY AWAY. I liked the fact that EPC served huevos rancheros all day so much that I have been coming a couple of times a month for years - plus it was never really *busy* here so it felt like I was helping out a small business, which makes me feel good. But tonight, a new waitress gave me the worst ever customer service, and the chances I might have to set eyes on her again is enough that I will NEVER return. Had a coupon so came with my sweetie even though I wasn't craving huevos. Chili relleno + cheese enchilada for me, 2 cheese ench's for him: $18.60. Large guacamole: $4.85. Salsa (seriously?! This was a first!): $1.85. Coke: $1.60. And between us, 3 little margaritas which, as I pointed to the big sign in the window which says $4 all day Tuesday (which was today) when I ordered them: $12. So, with my ""$10 off with purchase of $15"" coupon, I expected a bill for about $30 - imagine my surprise when the bill came for $50! (We won't get into the fact that she didn't get me my bill for 20 minutes after asking for it and boxes: she was way too busy stuffing pepper into shakers. Now THAT takes some time, and priority over the customer, huh? But I *could* have gotten up and walked over to the register sooner...) But no problem - math error, right? Well, when I pointed this out to her, she said the margaritas were $6.50 each since I couldn't have a ""daily special"" price with the coupon. I asked her to show me where this exception was stated on the coupon and she could not find it (because it wasn't there - it only prohibited other coupons). Even so... the math doesn't add up, right? So I asked her to recalculate and she came back with the same amount. At this point, I'm feeling prickly and asked for my card back because I don't trust this woman to enter the numbers correctly. And the entire time, she is giving me the attitude that I am acting most unreasonably; I have never had a customer service person give so much attitude. It turns out that we only have $31 cash, and with her creative math we're short $10 - but no way am I leaving my credit card with this madwoman, so give her the cash we had and told her we would be back in 10 minutes with the rest. As we're leaving, the underage drunk she gave 2 pitchers to while we were there comes chasing after us, yelling out our license plate numbers... seriously? I called the Mountain View police to let them know we were not criminals on the loose. When my sweetie went in to deliver the $10, the same weirdo came chasing him out, grabbing his crotch and demanding a fight. Wow... not the kind of clientele we are accustomed to. The waitress also informed my sweetie that the owner would be there shortly, so though we were not inclined to hang around I did call when we were home to let him know what a horrible experience we had had. He told me she was ""very busy"" that night, and that he wanted me to come in the next day to talk about it. Of course, I will never step foot in there again. If you are craving huevos or any of the dishes others seem to like here, WAIT until there is a man behind the counter, if you dare go in at all... or be sure to check the math if it is a woman, and be prepared to be given major attitude and be physically threatened. As for me, I will go as far as I need to find huevos for dinner at ANY place but this one!
