Review content:
Upon my first and last visit to this little bakery I initially thought I was the unsuspecting participant of a practical joke but it turns out they really are this unreasonably rude. On the way in I passed some ladies commenting on how discourteous a lady behind the counter was. To be fair the pastries look and taste amazing but I too couldn?t understand the owner?s attitude - at least I assume it was the owner as she berated and fired some poor girl right in front of me. Then, seeing a shiny new La Morocco espresso machine and Caffe Vita beans (a wonderful Seattle based roaster), I politely requested a macchiato. She refused to make one and after several courteous attempts I made and explanations I gave, she forced an espresso on me and snatched my money up like she was doing me some real favor. I figured it was just a bad day for them but recently laughed with my friend where they experienced similarly absurd behavior. So if you can put up with all the fussiness a slice of cake is good but heed this cautionary tale if you?re considering relying on these guys for catering or other big events. Pros: Good Cakes Cons: Outwardly rude
