Businiess name:  Emeril's New Orleans Fish House
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
based on emeril's nawlins roots and notable catch-phrase (bam!), we expected a lot more heat in the menu items. instead the menu was surprisingly ambitious and bland at the same time. the tai snapper special, for example, featured a cacophony of salmon roe, pickled mushrooms, beets and gnocchi. the fish itself was tasteless and undercooked, and the roe should have been left out of the dish altogether. the wine list was excessively huge (read: war and peace) and probably could have been pared down for this kind of menu. Pros: huge wine list (could be pro or con in this case) Cons: surprisingly bland and overly ambitious menu
