I've been a client for nearly 10 years. I come in about every 2-3 weeks for a pedicure and fill, or new set as needed.
There have definitely been positive changes since the new management took over!
Tony is the current tech I prefer for new sets or fills; he is sociable without being annoying and speedy without messing up or hurting you. I have never had any problems with a fill/set he has done, but have had some issues with a couple others.
In particular, one tech was asleep and literally _snoring_ on the couch when I arrived and they woke her up to do my nails!!!! WTF?! I should have spoken up about it, but I didn't feel comfortable.
For pedicures, Charlie is great and Paul is absolutely awesome- they actually give a lengthy, diligent massage and are super nice guys who make you feel very relaxed. If there's any sort of problem going on with your feet, they notice, explain the ins & outs of it and do their best to correct the issue for you.
Price is very competitive/fair/reasonable. As of this review, I pay $15/fill, $25/new set, $30/pedi, but those are, of course, subject to change.
I strongly suggest you MAKE AN APPOINTMENT; it is frequently busy here. If you call and schedule, they'll take you before the walk-ins, regardless of when they signed in. I think that is the confusion in the cases of some reviewers here complaining about others being taken before them or feeling like there was ""cherry-picking"" going on. Those taken ahead probably called ahead; you should too!
Most importantly, this establishment is clean; the techs follow the laws and licenses are displayed. All in all, quality is a lot better than most other shops like this and way more affordable than a spa/salon.
