When I came to Los Angeles years ago I used to drive back to San Diego (138 miles each way) or wait till I was back home (out of state) to get my hair cut. I stumbled upon Transcend Salon and can say that for even the most demanding client....this is the place. I've been going to Transcend ever since. :)
Pros: Everything but the cons... :)
Cons: Parking if your late for your appointment. ;p
