Review content:
I had been a patient with Plum Creek Medical for over 20 years. I went in six months ago to obtain copies of medical records. I had to have them in order to continue with classes at my college. All of my medical history prior to 2001 were lost! They had the audacity to suggest that I perhaps had never been a patient there before then. I was livid. I spoke to my mother and they had lost hers twice during her patient history. Thank goodness they found them her old records, but it was always years later. I later spoke with a woman in billing there. As I went to pay my bill, I mentioned my lost records. She said they were probably deliberately destroyed when I turned 18, as it was their policy. Who destroys medical records when a person turns 18? I'm still considering reporting them to the AMA for that.
Pros: Local for Castle Rock residents
Cons: Poor care, disorganized and impersonal
