Review content:
I just got home from the Six Taste Santa Monica tour in Santa Monica and can't recommend it enough - especially if you live in LA!
Our first stop was Rockenwagner Bakery. Now that I know they have pretzel croissants and the best coffee in west LA, I'll be a frequent visitor.
Stop #2: Border Grill. This stop was such a treat! We spent most of our time at this location trying multiple dishes and enjoying their delicious margaritas. Even the vegetarian option was to die for!
Stop #3: Tudor House. My favorite part of this location was the history behind its existence. It was great to learn more about this piece of LA's diversity!
Stop #4: Pourtal. This eco-friendly wine bar is a beautiful and tasty new hang-out I plan to revisit. Not only are the options sophisticated and diverse, but they also serve delicious food to be paired with your wine of choice. I highly recommend the hummus!
Stop #5: A picnic in the park overlooking the ocean at sunset! And what could be better? Sandwiches from Bay Cities Italian Deli! This place is always so packed that I've never had the time to try their sandwiches so I was thrilled to get a taste on this tour.
Stop #6: Angelato! After choosing a flavor, we were able to choose either a cup or cone of our favorite flavor! Soooo yummy!
Lastly, our tour guide Therese was simply amazing. Her knowledge of Santa Monica and dynamic personality made me proud to be a tourist in my own city!
